Horsefly River

Here is an interesting photo of the Horsefly River, near the townsite.   The rock in the middle tells us when the river is in flood, without having to drive down the road to see if it has spilled it’s banks over the farmland.  When the water is over the rock, the fields are flooded – simple as that.  It is also a great place to swim and hang out on the rock in the summer.
